Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic
Understand that this recipe makes a good (not great) chicken. We followed the recipe for the sauce as is and did not care for it. We drained the sauce off of the mushrooms and had a very ho hum chicken dish. When I see a dish on this site that more than 1,000 people have rated greater than four stars, I REALLY expect more.

Marinated Flank Steak
Great Marinade! I used this on a couple of eye of round steaks and I marinated for about 20 hours, I then grilled and sliced thinly for fajitas. I made a few changes-used lime juice rather than lemon, as another reviewer I added coriander and cumin as well as a few red pepper flakes. My family liked it so well they want to try it on other steak cuts.

Always A Winner Grilled Chicken
My family loved this recipe. I did make a few changes due to our personal tastes. I added a couple cloves of fresh garlic. I omitted the cinnamon. I added about a quarter tsp. more cumin and about a half tsp of coriander. I knew that my intent was to use this chicken for fajitas so I was looking for spices that would boost the southwest flavor. I marinated it for about 20 hours. It was quite spicy so next time I might lighten up on the cayenne but then I probably got more than a pinch in there. Overall it was a hit and will definately go in our rotation. My teenager loved using the leftovers for a sandwich.
