Hasselback Potatoes

I followed the recipe but used olive oil instead. This came out like the picture, crispy and delicious. We topped them with a sour cream with chopped fresh chives mixed in. Lovely.

Slow-Cooked German Short Ribs

We had this the other night. It has been a long while since I had short ribs. These were quite good. They were tender and flavorful. We had to thicken the sauce for a more gravy like consistency.

French Onion Soup V

Very good flavor. I let it marinade in the refrigerator for over a day. I thickened the wok juices with a little cornstarch and kicked it up with some chili paste.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

I dipped the chicken roll in egg to help the breadcrumbs stick. The sauce idea from another reviewer of cream of chicken soup and sour cream with a tablespoon of lemon juice finished it off. We were very happy with the results.
