Microwave Bread and Butter Pickles

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
These were awesome! After reading reviews I decided to use 3/4 C sugar. I felt they were too sweet so the next batch I only used 1/2 C and they were much better. Sure will be doing these again! Thanks for sharing!

Baked Mushroom Thighs

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
We thought these were soooooo good! They came out juicy and tender. I did remove the skin before coating. The dipping sauce was a special treat that my husband just loved! I did, however, forget to use the butter and I don't think it made any difference. This recipe rocks! Thanks for posting!!

Slow Cooker Italian Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
This tasted wonderful. I started off with 4 frozen breasts as I usually do when using the crockpot. This is very easy to do and tasty.

Burly Burger

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2012
This is definitely a 'man'wich. My husband loved it! And, I could see a lot of guys would like this. I didn't find it as the best; I think I would put some ketchup on it next time. I grilled the burgers instead of pan frying them. We're not fond of fried burgers. Thanks for posting!

This was really good! I was suprised my husband picked his head up, looked at me and said 'this is good!' He had seconds, of course. It was really so simple to put together. Thanks Barb for posting!

Crockpot Mac n Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
This was very good! I'm glad I snagged it from a post quite a while ago. I did, however, leave the egg out. Other than that, I made it as written. It came out very creamy for me. Gonna do this again!

Zucchini and Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
Having some zucchini and wanting to use some up I'm glad I found this recipe! I did mince up a clove of garlic and used some of that instead of using the powder. This was great! Thanks for sharing!

Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
I loved this! It was very easy to do and I didn't have to stand over the stove making it. Had a good flavor! I did use more water, however, and I used egg noodles in lieu of 'fine noodles'. This will freeze well, too!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
Totally easy to make and tastes wonderful! Not sure if I've ever made spinach dip before. I sure will now though! I did, however, use the whole 10 oz box of spinach instead of just half. Will be doing this one again!

Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2011
Very good! I baked my 14+ pounder breast down and the breast meat came out quite moist and tender as I have been reading! I like putting the orange, lemon and onion inside the cavity; it gives a nice aroma and just a slight hint of a taste of the orange. This is my 2nd year for doing this turkey this way. Thanks for posting Keri!

Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2011
This pie was really good! I did, however, leave out the carrots and subbed with corn. Would have preferred peas but I was out of them. I also used a good 2 cups of turkey. I had a deep dish pie crust in the freezer and a Pillsbury crust in the fridge so I was able to use them up. Thinking about doing this one again since I have so much turkey left over.

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
For so few ingredients this is a very tasty stuffing. I did, however, need to add additional broth. I used homemade chicken stock and added about 2 cups worth. It went into a 9x13 baking pan just right.

Slow Cooker Sausage Sandwich

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
These turned out sooooo good! I'm glad I looked in my personal folder and found these. I took the sausages straight from the freezer. I was wondering how they would come out by not browning them. I put a small coat of sauce on the bottom and added the sauages. Poured the rest of the sauce over and added a sliced onion. I added the green peppers 2 hours before the sausages were done. After 8 hours we had the most tender sausage sandwiches. I meant to put some Parmesan on top but I forgot. These were so easy and so good. I'm glad I grabbed this recipe from a post so long ago! Will surely do these again!

Grilled Cheese, Cinnamon, and Apple Sandwich

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Apples and cheese go nicely together as a snack so why not in a sandwich? I really enjoyed this and would never have thought of it. I've always used 2 slices of cheese when making grilled cheese so I did no different this time. Thanks for posting this!

Rotisserie Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
Excellent and comes out so moist and flavorful. Directions don't say to tie up legs and wings but you really must. I put a pan underneath to catch the fat that melts off which causes 'fire'. This chicken was a 4.20 pounder and was done in 1 1/2 hours. Sure will do this again!
