My husband is Mexican and I'm a mix of Italian and Puerto Rican, so my cooking styles differ. I love making desserts. Maybe it's the taste-testing along the way or the way it always disappears afterwards. Grandma's recipes! Both my grandma's can cook like nobody's businesss! I love eating at their houses, especially on holidays. The tables are stacked with foods...it's heaven! I make up stuff along the way. I never follow a recipe the way it should go. I'm always adding or substituting! It ends up good 90% of the time. Sadly, bacon is the hardest thing in the world for me! It always gets burnt up and crispy.
