About this Cook
I am a veggie mom of a veggie family. We are ovo-lacto vegetarians who are very busy. Though we try to sit down together every night to eat (we succeed most nights), we have little prep time. We like recipes that are quick, easy, nutritious, and not the same old thing.

Coquito II
Wow, I found this to be REALLY watery. Not thick at all like the coquito my husbands family makes. If anyone has any ideas for thickening it up, I'd appreciate it!!

Pecan Pie V
This was an excellent pecan pie, but will not live up to your standards if you want the classic. It did not have the gooey texture that a classic pecan pie has - it was much more crumbly, but not so crumbly that it didn't stay together well. I personally loved it, and will make it from here on out on Thanksgiving - the deletion of corn syrup makes the trade off on texture MORE than worth it!

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies
I had heard this legend about Macys when working at Nordstrom - they live up to the name - wonderful!
