About this Cook
My husband is always encouraging me to try new things on him. I enjoy trying new things and love enhancing my knowledge of food and how to cook. I love to bake and I always bake good recipes for my neighbors and friends. They love me for it!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking. Pies, cakes and all that. It's what I am best at too because everyone loves my dessert. I also like to cook some real down home things like casseroles and such but mostly I like to expirement with new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom didn't really pass down alot but a couple things that sticks is the tatertot casserole and the egg, peanut butter and mayo sandwhich. Boy we were a weird bunch.
My cooking triumphs
Started getting into the kitchen alot about 2 years ago and now I feel like I can try anything and master it. I've really broadened the range of what I can cook and what I will eat.
My cooking tragedies
I hate it when I make something and it doesn't taste good. And I have a small kitchen with limited space and no real good cooking pans but I am working on that and one day I will have it.

Cream of Fresh Asparagus Soup II
I had alot of trouble blending the asparagus...didn't work out so good for me but then again I have never made soup before and this was my first attempt. Probably be my last too.
