About this Cook
I am an Accounting Manager at a major Hotel. I DJ and teach Country Dance Lessons at a local club which is my passion. I love to ride my Harley Sportster. I have really started to enjoy to cook for my live in Boyfriend and his 7 year old Son. I find this website to be extremely helpful in my efforts to make good tasting meals
My favorite things to cook
I love making fish and we love to grill all year round. I also like baking cookies and yummie treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
Traditional meals .. Holidays .. with lots of people
My cooking triumphs
Thanksgiving dinner for 25 people. This year I cooked a Honey Glazed Ham and an 11 lb Prime Rib Roast with amazing side dishes and desserts.
My cooking tragedies
Not making it to the store before they closed for Thanksgiving (about 12 years ago when stores used to close for the Holiday). We wound up ordering our food from Carrows Restaurant (yuck) ... Absolutely Horrible

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham
This glaze was PERFECT. Very Tasty. I wound up putting this Ham on the BBQ for Thanksgiving because everything else I was making was at different temps in the oven. It cooked beautifully on the BBQ and this glaze gave it an amazing flavor. My guests loved it.

Guacamole
This was great. I chopped everything the night before and then smashed up the avacado right beforehand so that it wouldn't turn brown. The guacamole was actually better the next day. Had great flavor.
