Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
Wow! Was this delish!!! I added 1 more sliced potato to the layers and 1 more chopped to the veggie mixture. I sprinkled garlic powder and black pepper on the top of the casserole. I did'nt have the cream so I used 2T.milk and 1T. flour (mixed together first). It was a bit peppery but we like it that way...if you don't...maybe try 1/2 the black pepper. Also didn't have the wine so I used all water but dissolved the bouilion in it first in the microwave. Really can't wait to have this again!!! Hubby even had seconds!

Pineapple Zucchini Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
I cut this recipe in half (24) and added 1/4 t. each of ground cloves and nutmeg. They were super! As another reviewer suggested though, next time I might cut the oil in half and replace it with applesauce as the paper liners were a bit greasy. They don't rise much but are very tasty!!! I will make them again as the pineapple/zucchini combo is superb!

Turkey Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
This was very good AND easy!!! I used cream of mushroom soup but any will do. Also added a handful of shredded cheese to thicken a bit, a small can of mushroom slices and some pepper and garlic. I used the deep dish pie shells that come frozen 2 to a pack and defrosted the top according to the package directions. It fell apart a bit but it was all good in the end! My hubby had 2 pieces! I divided the pie into 4 pieces. Great with a salad for a work night dinner!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2007
I made this for Easter dinner too and EVERYONE loved it!!! It was so moist that I swear it tasted like it cooked in the bird all day! I liked the canned mushrooms because they were soft and added to that all day cooked taste. Also cut back the broth to 2 cans and added one can of cream of celery soup. Mix the soup with the broth to get rid of any chunks! Also added a half loaf of day old bread, cubed. Any kind will do, I used wheat as that's what I had on hand. I threw in some italian seasoning too as I do love that spice! Super yummy!!!

Pan Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
The taste was very good but the bottom part crumbled A LOT and fell apart! I changed the margerine to 2 sticks like suggested but seemed way too dry. Also, good tip is to cut while the topping is still wet as it separates when trying to cut it when set. I used a 9X13 pan but would try a larger one next time because the bottom layer was pretty thick for such a rich treat!
