About this Cook
I am 27, a housewife and student. We don't have any kids yet but we do have a dog and a couple of cats. I love to cook and try new recipes. I also enjoy my nightly meals with my husband.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking pretty much anything, although I leave the BBQing to my husband because he is a Pro!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I would have to say that my favorite family cooking traditions are the holidays. We all get together and do a potluck.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs would have to be anything that turns out good and not burned!! Naw I am a pretty good cook, good enough to rope a husband.
My cooking tragedies
Nothing too bad but I found out that my husband hates casseroles and pancakes, only after I made them a few times.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole
Delish! I made to accompany dinner last night and to use up a very large zucchini that I received from my neighbors garden. I used a clean towel to squeeze out the excess liquid.

Sausage Egg Bake
I followed the recipe as is and I thought it turned out a little runny. I did however enjoy the taste. I think next time I will use less milk, and add the cheese to the top about halfway through. Also a great base recipe to tweak with onions and peppers. Thanks for the recipe Molly it's going into my collection!

Muffuletta Sandwich
This sandwich is also delicious if you chop up giardiniera (pickled vegetables) and add in with the olives as the spread. This gives it a bit of kick. YUM!
