I did not make this, but my sister-in-law Jane made this for a birthday brunch. It was very good! I am sure it will be made again and again...

This is one of the standards for Thanksgiving in my family. The ONLY thing I do different is put marshmallows on the top instead of the pecan topping. But I am thinking this year I may put those marshmallows on top of the pecans.

Nothing special. We ate it with no complaint, but I think there was way to much sauce in proportion to the meat.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. Leave out the sugar! I have no idea why it is a part of the recipe. Otherwise these potatoes are excellent. That little bit of steak seasoning adds to the flavor!

I have been making this for years, and it is a Sunday dinner favorite with my family. I have cooked it on low for 8 hours and on high for 4 hours. I think the high on 4 hours works better. The meat tends to get overdone when cooked on the low setting. I also brown the roast first.

I made these for a grad party, and they were a real hit. Easy on the cook too, because you can make them the night before, wrap tightley in plastic wrap, and keep them in the fridge. It actually improves the flavor. Because I was short on time I used premade olive salad with excellent results.

I simply cut back in the mustard a bit and we all loved it. I like the cracker! My family thought it was fun to scoop up the salad. I have never known potato sald to be eaten that way, but we have started a new tradition.

Very good basic chocolate cake that everyone loves and is easy to make. It is the perfect birthday cake for a large crowd, not to mention that a scoop of vanilla icecream fits right on top!. I do have to say that when I read some of the other reviews that say it is tasteless, dry etc.etc. and not just this recipe but others as well, I ask you this question... are your ingredients fresh? 2 year old cinnamon and old baking chocolate lose their flavor. Also shortening, and vegetable oil that has been sitting in the back of a pantry for a long time gets rancid. So check those spices for freshness and I am sure you will have better results with the wonderful recipes on this website.

I used to make this with my kids when they are little. Now I have an 8 year old in my life and she likes to help make in when she comes over. This is a really great recipe to get kids cooking in the kitchen because it is easy and fun to make, not to mention that it tastes great too!

I baked 2 great big loaves instead of 3 smaller ones. We really like this recipes. Very easy to do, and the results are great. Only problem is that it gets eaten up real fast! Next time I will make 2 loaves and some hamburger buns. Very nice dough to work with. I think I am going to try the cinnamon loaf that some reviewers had done.

If you want to impress, this is the lamb recipe to go for. You need to allow yourself plenty of time to get everything assembled, chopped, diced etc. But once that lamb is roasting in the oven, you will not be sorry you went the extra mile. My family loved this, and my 83 year old father told me it is a meal he will not soon forget. Now that is a compliment!

This is a fantastic recipe for venison! I made this exactley as written with excellent results. I am thinking it would be wonderful with any type of red meat. My only caution would be to those who do not care for rosemary. It can easily be omitted and I am sure it would still taste great! I see a review that said they did not like the vinegar taste. I don't see that there is any vinegar in the recipe.

This is so good! I made this on a very cold saturday. Along with fresh baked bread, it just doesn't get better. I followed the recipes exactley. It does make a thick soup, so you may want to add more broth if you like it with more liquid.

The only thing I do different is substitute the potatoes with celery, only because I do not like the way potatoes cook in a crockpot. Otherwise this is a very good crockpot meal. The meat is nice and tender, not to mention the heavenly aroma. I serve mine with mashed potatoes.

I really think this needs to be made without the rice. As the rice absorbs the liquid, it dries out the chicken. The flavor is very good. Just don't cook it on high or for more than 6 hours. I served mine with mashed potatoes.

These cookies are delicious. They have become a christmas favorite in our house. I first made them after I got the recipe from a Land O Lakes cookie booklet several years ago. For those that think it has to much almond extract, I think it is because this recipe calls for it in the glaze, which is easily omitted. YUM!

This is a good recipe. Try it with wild rice too. Just makes sure you cook the wild rice first. I simmer mine in chicken broth. saute some celery and onion in a little butter, add the rice and soup, put your browned pork chops on top and bake until done.

This is a very good basic chili recipe. I doubled the batch and sent it with my son to college for dinner on moving in day. I was told that everyone liked it. My suggestion is to try it according to the recipe and then take it from there, as everyone it seems has there own opinion regarding how chili should taste. This recipe is darn tasty, but not so much as to offend the more delicate palates among us. I added a pan of cornbread with jalapenos for those who needed more heat.

This is THE BEST! I have never made good spaghetti sauce before and I thought I would try this as I was having a large crowd for dinner. I felt like an Italian mama. Everyone without exception loved this. I made the meatballs exactley like the recipe. . I have found my recipe, I will look no further! Okay, after making this several times, I had about a half a bottle of red wine sitting on the counter. I added it to the sauce, and all I can say is it just made it that much better!

We loved this chicken dish! I used the marinated artichokes. 2 jars equals about 1 can of the regular canned artichokes. I drained them very well as suggested. I also used low fat mayo which worked just great. This is a dish that is quick for weeknights, but I wouldn't hesitate to serve it to company. this is a keeper!
