I have been married for 10 years. I have not embraced cooking yet, although I'm trying! I am very scared and timid when it comes to cooking because I'm afraid to make a mistake. I have made a commitment to try new recipes and not worry so much about the reaction. I am very glad that I found this site because I have found that I love to cook desserts and have found several recipes that I love making! Bundt cakes, cookies, cakes, & casseroles. My Memaw makes the greatest peach cobbler ever! I love watching her make meals because she is such a pro! Making my first Butterscotch bundt cake for our block party. When I first got married I made a pot of beans and almost burnt the house down. I didn't realize that I had to check the water levels while cooking. (pathetic I know!!) I almost had to call 911.. We had fire alarms going off, smoke filling up the kitchen. All we were missing was flames!
