I love to cook obviously. But I am just as well renowned in film (BIG MOVIE BUFF) and physical training (GYM GOER). . . Between those three things, I fit my lovely significant other and my work into my life quite well. . . Hope you enjoy the food and input I can offer. . .
My favorite things to cook
EVERYTHING!!! The only way I get to spend my nights off fully is by finding a new recipe and just cooking it while having a nice relaxing drink in hand. Seafood is my preferable family thang hehe, but I also love doing my MANLY barbecuing and a few italian recipes da boot. But I will always be game to try something new. . .
My favorite family cooking traditions
Funny thing is nobody in family really likes to cook. I just started teaching myself as a teenager and just picked it up. But I am writing my own cookbook now and am hoping to be the start of something resembling a family tradition. . .
My cooking triumphs
I consider a triumph to be anytime I leave my guest, party, eater, etc. satisfied. I have made some delicious dishes. Good looking and good tasting. And if they are left either with good remarks or none at all because they are too busy stuffing their face, I am happy : )
My cooking tragedies
I am still learning how to properly cook steaks. They are my achilles heal unfortunately. . . But aside from that I deathly oversalted beef jerkey once, ruined a large pot by letting a can of corn settle at the bottom of a stew and char, and I did accidentally spice a pasta up with cayenne thinknig it was oregano (it was mislabled). . . So yes, I like everybody has had their misfortunes. I figure it to be a lesson learned in becoming a better cook. . .
