Honey Fried Chicken

Yum! Actually quite simple to do. I used boneless chicken thighs-- I marinated the chicken in salt and pepper an hour prior to cooking. I did the honey-flour coating just before cooking, and the salty and sweet flavors blended nicely!

Halibut with Cream Sauce

Very good and very easy to make! It had a light taste, and if I hadn't made it myself, I wouldn't have known there was mayo in there. I also love that it makes use of ingredients that I usually readily have in hand. This is definitely going to my regular rotation of dishes :)

It was an ok recipe. The crabmeat/ cracker filling seemed a little off, didn't really seem to go that well with the fish. Still, it was edible, and it was fun making hubby guess what was inside.

Taiwanese-Style Three Cup Chicken

Really great recipe and authentic recipe! I skipped the basil leaves and chilies tho, because I've never seen them in Chinese restos-- and I got a dish exactly how we like it!!! You can also use bone-in chicken parts like legs, wings and thighs, cut up into smallish pieces. Serve in a claypot for authentic presentation! :)

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Good stuff! I made my pesto from scratch (also from a recipe from this site) and the end product was creamy and yummy. Fresh parmesan cheese makes a difference. The dish is quite rich tho and filling, so next time i'll be making smaller portions.

Love it! Really really good. Reduce the wine first before adding the rest of the ingredients, then further reduce. Other than that, and omitting the shallots I followed the recipe to a tee. YUM! I'm sure this would taste great with fish too.

Awesome Korean Steak

Great recipe! For the beef, ask your butcher or the market for sukiyaki cuts- these are really thin slices- they should be able to do this using a meat slicer; as it's difficult to make paper thin slices yourself at home. With slices this thin, you only need about 2-3 hours of marinading. Also, I saw a bunch of reviews saying the soy sauce was too much- it was just right, use a light soy or japanese soy like kikkoman. I tried this with both beef and pork. Yummy! Will definitely make again!

Peach Muffins

i love the texture and softness of the muffin. i used canned peach, and it's possibly because of that that I didn't get a peachy taste. Should up the peaches next time. Also, I only used 1 teaspoon cinnamon and it was still way too strong. Also added about 1/3 syrup. Lastly, I was surprised how much muffins this made. It made about 36 cupcake sized muffins!

great recipe! i used chicken thighs instead of breast and fresh bread crumbs with italian seasonings instead. Upped and added a buncha spices too. I had left over chopped apples so I added that to juices and it added oomph to the gravy later on.
