Baked Tomatoes Oregano

These were ok, but I have tried similar recipes that were a bit tastier. I don't think I would make this one again. Thanks for posting your recipe though!

The ingredients in this recipe seemed so unusual that I just had to try it. It is truly delicious. I'm not sure why, it just is!!

Lemon Barbeque Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
Very impressive meatloaf. I am very funny when it comes to meatloaf and I was a bit skeptical about this, but it was exceptionally delicious and something I would serve to company. Following another reviewers advice, adding lemon pepper seasoning to the meat mixture was a great idea. And also, instead of the water, try adding milk, it just does something great to the texture. Thanks for the delicious recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
I finally got around to making this wonderful soup today. The reviews are right! It is absolutely delicious. As for my personal taste, I think I would cut back a bit on the butter next time. It seemed really buttery to me, but I don't normally eat real butter so maybe it's just me. I am sure I will use this recipe many times in the coming years. For variation, I think swapping the ham with bacon would be good also. Thank you for submitting your delicious recipe!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I ran across this recipe a few years ago and make this quite often. It is oh so simple and never fails to please. It's amazing the great flavor the pepperoncini adds to the meat.

Flatlander Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2007
Whoaaa! I was expecting a good chili. I got a GREAT chili! This is some of the best chili I have ever experienced. I have tried so many different recipes, including one on this site that has high reviews and twice as many ingredients and it doesn't come close to this. This chili has the perfect blend of spices and ingredients, and so simple to prepare. Thank you to the recipe submitter for ending a long search for a great chili!

Cheese Straws

Heavenly. I was sitting here, found the recipe, tried it out and am now devouring them! All in less than 30 minutes. I had all the ingredients on hand except for the sharp cheeder. I used a pre-shredded bag of chedder and Monteray Jack and it worked perfectly. The cayenne pepper gives it that perfect little bite. They are delicious dipped in Blue Cheese!

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
This rice just didn't tickle my fancy like I had hoped it would. I love the Spanish rice I get in the grocery store, but I wanted to try making my own. There seems to be a certain flavor that I like in the store bought kind that this dish is missing. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Beef and Bean Chimichangas

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
These are scrumptious! I made a little extra sauce to put over the top. 8 inch flour tortillas work perfectly. To save on calories, I used fat free beans and the fat free spray butter works great to brown them. Thank you for the recipe!

Mini Pizzas

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
This is a great appetizer and perfectly easy! After trying these, as good as they are, I believe they would really be something with added ingredients suggested by other reviewers, such as mozzarella, pizza sauce, cayenne pepper. The possibilities are endless! Thanks for the recipe!

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
I didn't make the meatballs, just used the sauce and I found it to be delicious. It seems to be just a tad bit sweet for my taste but I am sure that can be worked out by possibly leaving the brown sugar out and maybe just a little more chili sauce. Also, a previous reviewer made the suggestion of adding a bit of mustard for a little extra zing. That sounds wonderful to. But as it is, it really is a great tasting sauce. Thanks Lara!

I made this for 15 ladies at a shower yesterday. It brought rave reviews! It was so eay to prepare, and not that expensive because it is meatless. It was so neat and pretty on the serving tray. I wish I had taken a picture! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
Since this recipe lacks a bit in flavor for my taste, I can only rate it a 4. On my own I added celery and minced garlic and now, for me, it is a 5 star. I used my crock pot for this and I honestly think they are the best cabbage rolls I have ever tasted! The presentation was beautiful and I appreciate the recipe submitter for sharing how to make these!

Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
This recipe also works well in the crock pot! The last time I had a party at my house I put this is the crock pot and kept it on a low setting. My guest loved it! You can also vary the fruits, I once used pears instead of pineapple, and you can vary the nuts too. Try a sprinkling of instant apple cinnamon oatmeal on top! But this recipe as written is very good and very easy. Thanks for sharing!

Yummy Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
This cheese ball is good. The bacon can make it a bit salty for those who are not crazy about salt. I have made it many times even without the bacon and it is still good. I mostly have to leave out the mayo as I really don't find it to be necessary, and like to save on calories whenever I can!

Zesty Tuna Salad

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

I just wasn't that crazy about this. The veggies were good, but I always seem to find this kind of meat to be a bit tough. I would have enjoyed this more with the addition of some spices to kick it up a bit. Thanks for the post!

Burrito Pie

This was great. I made no changes to the recipe other than following other reviewers advice to spread the beans on the tortillas. I love the taste of the meat mixture and I think I am going to use it for serving over nachos. Thanks for the great recipe!
