Favorite Hamburger Bites

I have made these several times, only leaving out the onion soup mix. When we have family gatherings and I know children will be there, I always whoop these up for them. They always look forward to it.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
We love these wings! My friend, who runs her own restaurant told me she uses this exact same recipe for sauce, and she is known for her great wings. Baked or fried, these are good either way. For the best wing experience, please try these with Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing from this site. Thanks for the recipe!

Zesty Beef Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
My family and I liked this roast ok. We are huge horseradish fans, so we just had to give it a try. Although the horseradish gives an interesting twist on this dish, I don't think I liked it enough to make it again. Thank you Joan for coming up with this recipe and giving us the chance to try it!

Bill's Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
This is UNREAL! I used a little less mayo than called for. I can't get over how good this was. I fixed this last night for my husband to dip his hot wings in and I don't know if he has ever come out of his trance yet! My hubby's name is Bill, and he wanted me to tell you Bill, thanks for the recipe!!!

Tiered Cheese Slices

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
I made this for a recent shower. The appearance and presentation of this is what drew me. It is beautiful on a snack tray and looks like a lot of work went into it, when it's really fairly simple. The ladies all loved it and a couple of people raved on and on about it. I can't say it was my fave. I don't know, I found the chedder cheese I bought from the deli to be so strong tasting.I will certainly be making this again because so many others seemed to enjoy it. Thank you for sharing!

Blackened Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
This was FANTASTIC! I doubled the spices and rubbed it on both sides, added a bit of chipolte chili powder. I had no problem with the kitchen getting smokey. I also baked mine for longer than the recipe called for. It was tender and juicy on the inside and crispy and deliciously flavored on the outside. My husband raved on and on about this. Thank you for the recipe!

Savory Herb Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
Wow! This is really good ya'll! So long I have searched for a great rice dish. My family and I adore this. I threw in an extra dash of each spice. It is still pretty mild, and I will probably play with it a bit over time, but we sure did enjoy this! Thank you for a recipe I will use over and over again.

Garlic Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
I am VERY impressed by this recipe. I used a blend of Parmesian and Ramano cheese for the topping, but with or without the cheese, it is still great. Like another reviewer said, this would be great just to keep in the fridge for munchies. The next time I make this (which may be tomorrow!), I am going to cut back just a wee bit on the red wine vinegar as for my personal taste. Thank you for this easy dish!

Margaritas

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
Five star Margarita made simple! Like a previous reviewer, I am an ex bartender and have always been in search of a better Margarita. Using the limeade is such a great alternative to the sour mix. I made mine on the rocks and it is oh so perfect! Thanks Katherine!

House Fried Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Winner! This rice dish was outstanding. I only used chicken and it tasted exactly like the Chicken Fried Rice I get when I do Chinese take-out. I have tried making fried rice before, and never could get that authentic taste until this. The sesame oil is the trick. I am getting ready to heat up leftovers for my breakfast!! Sounds crazy, but I just can't wait! Thank you Lynda. It was wonderful.

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Oh My Goodness! This was top notch! My family is swearing they will never go out for Chinese again. This sauce was wonderful. I actually used crushed pineapple in it and it was easy and fantastic. Before dicing the chicken, I boiled it for about 10 minutes. It helped to cut in uniform pieces easier. I served this with House Fried Rice from this site. It was a VERY impressive meal. Thank you Linda. Who knew we could make such an authentic tasting dish right here at home.

Juicy Pork Chops

I honestly think this is a wonderful marinade for pork chops. I've marinated chops using this recipe both grilled and baked, and both turned out very delicious. I like big bold flavor, and this delivers. Thank you for this wonderful marinade!

I made these and left out the bread crumbs, and used almonds instead of pecans. They suited my taste this way and came out very good.

Dill Dip III

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
So delicious! As a previous reviewer said, the grated onion is really the key here. I didn't really measure anything with this recipe, just whooped it all up together til the taste was right for us and we loved it. I'm thinking adding a splash of lemon next time. Thank you!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2007
I enjoyed making and eating this. Since this is the first banana bread I have ever baked, I don't have much to compare it to, but it taste as good as any I have ever had. I didn't really like how dark and crusty the top got, but it was very moist inside. I think I would like to try this again with some spices, cinnamon maybe. Thanks for the recipe!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
The whole family enjoyed this recipe. By mistake my husband bought chicken tenders instead of breast, but no matter, they were the best baked chicken tenders we have ever had. It was a wee bit on the bland side though. I think the recipe could benefit from a little cayenne pepper, maybe some onion powder, something to kick it up just a notch for those of us who like things with a little more zip! Thanks for sharing your recipe!
