I just turned 50. I'm a special ed teacher, working with autistic spectrum disorder students. I live outside of Buffalo with my husband and two teenagers, one of whom is flirting with becoming a vegetarian.
My favorite things to cook
Thanksgiving recipes, including cranberry chutney, chestnut stuffing. I love making gingerbread and cooking for the Jewish holidays.

I love cooking for all the Jewish holidays. Every year, my kids demand brisket and latkes (potato pancakes.)

Brisket, latkes, chicken soup, gingerbread, carrot dill soup.

Well, there was the time my breadsticks set off the smoke detector... and then the very recent burning of the spaghetti.....
