Well, I am 27 years old. Married and have a son and a daughter. I feel there is a dying breed of "homemade" foods. My grandmother gave me a quote that I will never forget: "Grandma's place fresh pies to cool on the window sill and grandaughters place pies on the window sill to thaw." That has stuck with me everyday since she told me. I enjoy cooking. My dad used to be a cook and taught me a few things here and there. He taught me to enjoy it and take pride in it. I love to bake rather then cook. But I do enjoy both. I have a sweet tooth so tend to bake the good stuff. I love to go to my grandmothers house for old-fashioned Italian dinners. We have family recipes we eat every holiday. I can't wait. A cake from scratch in high altitude! Burning a roast on the Set-It-and-Forget-It rotisserie. Guess you really can't forget it.
