I love to make my own seasoning blends. My husband has high blood pressure so we try and eat very low salt. I use this as an all purpose blend on everything. Let me introduce the cast of characters: I'll post the recipe later. What I like about this blend is it's virtually fool proof. You c MORE

Tamra's Microwave Tilapia
We loved this! I used 2 thin filets & they were done with just the 2 minutes. I used dried Tarragon (didn't have fresh) and just a few drops of the vinegar. My husband said "this is good, we should make fish tacos with it". I'm going to do that for my lunch today!

Speedy Homemade Salsa
Excellent & easy. I adjusted the spices to my families tastes. We love cilantro & I have a bunch of it so I put way more in. Didn't have the white onion so I used more red. Used lime, but still added a bit of the apple cider vinegar. Really good!

Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Muffins
These were fantastic! I cooked my sweet potato in the microwave. Used my homemade vanilla extract & pumpkin pie spice. Added a little under 1/4 cup of wheat germ. Used 1/4 c honey, 1/4 c agave & 1/4 sugar free pancake syrup. I was surprised how moist they are with so little oil. I did use Activa fiber yogurt. I didn't have any almonds, so for the topping I mixed up my homemade brown sugar splenda blend with oat bran & crushed walnuts. Super good muffin, thanks!
