I am a stay-at-home mom of two wonderful children: Kimberly, 2 and Aaron, 5 months. I live for my kids and wonderful husband, and try to make sure they eat something good everyday.
My favorite things to cook
I love making pancakes and omeletes for breakfast, but don't do so everyday. Any breakfast food is my favorite to cook, since that is my favorite meal.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't currently have any cooking traditions with my family, except for weekends usually mean pancakes. And our first ever Christmas family breakfast is coming up that I hope turns into a family tradition.
My cooking triumphs
Pancakes are my strong point. I haven't yet (knock on wood) ruined a batch of pancakes.
My mom used to always make boiled cookies when I was growing up, but they only set about half the time. Everytime I have made them, they have set. So it made me feel good to give her some pointers.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried to make waffles for my husband (and the last), I didn't spray the waffle iron or put anything on it, I just poured the batter onto it. When I opened it up to get the waffles out, I had a huge mess because the waffles had stuck everywhere.
