CHEESECAKE!!!
Baked Potata' Soup
About this Cook
Hey there. My name is Kristen. I'm a 16 year old girl who loves to cook and I hope I can become a wonderful cook someday. I'm on my way, taking training classes and applying for culinary colleges such as Johnson and Wales and the Art Institute. Other than that, I'm just your typical teenager. I work at a coffee shop and love it. I love life. And food.
My favorite things to cook
I started out loving to cook pastries and breads, but as I became more familiar with cooking, i've come to like cooking gourmet, paying specail attention to detail. I love to take pictures of all my 'art', and always love to learn from my mistakes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Actually, my family isn't very big on cooking. I guess the family recipe of the famous meatloaf is a worthy tradition, but who knows.
My cooking triumphs
I love cooking desserts. I usually make desserts and when I have extras, I basically have my neighbors pleading for them.
My cooking tragedies
Oh boy. One time I was trying a new way of cooking cheesecake, you know, with the water bath and all. Well the water seeped into my cheesecake and made it horribly soggy. Uck. And that was the cheesecake I was supposed to present to my cooking teacher.

Baked Potato Soup I
Defiantly awesome. First time I tried making potatoe soup instead of getting it out of the can. One thing you've got to be sure of is whisking it frequently. I didn't do it enough and it scorched the bottom of my pot. My mom wasn't too happy about that. But anyways, I cut back on the butter, milk and flour, as did everyone else. Still turned out awesome. Thanks!
