I discoved my love for cooking a couple of years ago. Ever since, I look forward to any cooking opportunity that comes my way. I am a little obsessive when cooking or baking, trying to make sure that everything is even. My family laughs at me for this, calling me neurotic. Oh well, if that's what it takes for what I make to taste good, then so be it. I come from an Italian background, so it's not a suprise that I love to cook Italian food. I love the smell of garlic, and I love the taste of it even more. Also, I love to bake. I make anything from muffins to quick loaves to cookies. I find baking to be very relaxing and love how it warms up the kitchen. My favorite cooking traditions are to make pizza every Saturday night and make pasta every Sunday. When I was little, every Saturday my parents and I would have pizza. One day, we started making our own, and I have continued that tradition ever since. I look forward to the weekend just so I can enjoy the food that brings me back to my childhood.
