To decorate the top I made leaves out of gum paste. To make them look life-like I used a tooth pick to trace veins throughout the leaf. Then I draped the freshly cut leaves over waddled tin foil and let them dry completely. Finished by painting with gel food coloring and vodka (it evaporates quicker than water) and simmer dust.
