About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom to my two little girls, Megan and Kristen. I have been happily married for about 12 years now, to Chuck. I love the Lord and I strive to please him in all I say and do. He died for me, and I owe him my life. I love life and Nature and really enjoy decorating. My dream job would be an interior designer
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook italian food. I love to try new recipes and experiment with them. I do bake but not a whole lot. I love making stir frys and cassoroles and using my slow cooker for quick and easy meals on Church days. I love to cook anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I was not really into cooking as a child. It came with marriage. My daughter loves to help me in the Kitchen. I love licking the mixer utencils after my mom made goodies or mashed potatoes. That was the highlight of my day. My goal is to get my daughter more involved now that she is getting older.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime my husband and kids say wow this is good. Is a cooking triumph for me.
My cooking tragedies
LOL....once I put my Chicken enchiladas in the oven with a plastic lid over them. Nice plastic coating on the enchiladas. What a disaster.

Venison Italian Soup
This soup is really really good. I do not use the pasta, and instead of using basil and oregano, I use tupperware's italian herb seasoning(if you don't have this, buy it, it is awesome in soups and spaghetti sauces)I use this soup when my whole family gets togethter and goes camping, and everybody just loves it. SO GOOD!!!!

Iced Mochas
Wonderful flavor, I used caramel instead of chocolate syrup, and only about one cup of milk, a little more if needed just to get a nice consitency. These are just as good as starbucks, and believe me it will save you some bucks. Loved it.

Mom's Warm Milk
Well, I tired it with nutmeg first and did not like it......It is just because I am not a fan of nutmeg. So I tried it with cinnamon as someone suggested and I really liked it. I give it four stars, but my 8 yr. old daughter gave it five......It also soothed her sore throat.
