Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls
Fabulous! I hosted a dinner party where we assembled these together as an ice breaker activity. I prepped all the vegetables (including shredded carrots and julienned cucumber) and fillings ahead of time, and everyone rolled their own rolls, choosing whatever they wanted. I made the sauce from the recipe (yum!), as well as the 2 parts hoisin, 1 part peanut butter sauce recommended by another reviewer. It was a hit! Everyone was very enthusiastic. I will definitely do them as a party activity again.

Lemon Blueberry Drop Scones
Quite delicious! They are very light and tender. I used all freshly-ground soft white wheat instead of all-purpose flour, sucanat instead of white sugar, and for the yogurt I used a cup of Fage (full fat) Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of honey. You'd never have known they were whole wheat! I frozen a few (raw) and will try baking them from their frozen state, as another reviewer suggested. If they turn out well that way, I'll be serving these at an upcoming event. They aren't very scone-like, but they ARE delicious.

Lamb Stew with Green Beans
We couldn't believe how fabulous this was. It was AMAZING. I followed the recipe exactly, other than using fresh dill and mint instead of the dried. I was afraid that it would be bland, but it was anything but. Good ol' lamb. My husband, mother-in-law, and I couldn't get enough. I'm about to cook up another batch.
