I have 4 kids and I have been cooking for 12 years,the first thing I ever made for company was sweet and sour chicken.It was gone in seconds and everyone asked for the recipe.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make spring rolls from scratch,stuffed grape leaves,chicken francese,roasted beet salad, seafood salad,pad thai, chicken enchiladas, arabic dish called malooba (chicken and rice with fried eggplant).pumpkin cheesecake.

Falafel I
It was nasty, tasted nothing like falafel and soy sauce and peanut butter dont belong in there. I threw it out. Also this is an arabic middle eastern dish, not jewish.
