I admit the ratio is the same but I have been making Manhattans with a jigger (1 1/2 oz) of whiskey, 3/4 oz. of sweet vermouth and a glass filled with ice. Naturally, cherries!! LOVE this drink -- it's my signature!

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Made this for our Labor Day picnic & everyone really loved it. I usually read through a recipe a few times before I make it but for some reason this time I thought I knew what needed to be done. Well, I did it incorrectly but it still came out great. I steamed the fresh green beans and then made a mixture of everything else and tossed it. It really came out very good that way -- for something a little different or quicker. Next time I'll try it the "right" way!

Lamb Feta Peppers

This recipe was wonderful. I loved the flavors. The sauce was more cooking liquid, though, not "smothered in sauce". But I feel the peppers could stand alone without any kind of sauce, that's how much I enjoyed them.
