My Husband and I
My Wedding Day
About this Cook
I'm a newlywed and I think my Allrecipes' Name describes me to the T. I'm very lazy for the kitchen. But I love to cook. Does that make sense? Thanks to Allrecipes.com, I have fans for those very odd days I decide to cook :0)~
My favorite things to cook
Flank Steak on the grill & unique desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving Dinner. I've taken every single recipe from Allrecipes.com and Thanksgiving's a hit at both of my parents' homes. I have to go to both houses the morning of...and make everything. They wouldn't forgive me if I didn't.
My cooking triumphs
Crab Crusted Grouper. YUM. I sent my aunt some leftovers and now my entire family's heard about 'that fish I make so good'.
My cooking tragedies
Turkey Meatballs (not a recipe from this site). My husband spit out the 1st one and I've never DARED try that again.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake
WOW!!! I made this for Thanksgiving and got praises from every single person who tried it!!! They cleaned the plate and it really was outstanding. I followed a reviewer's recommendation: to use pumpkin pie filling rather than pumpkin and the corresponding seasonings. The layers came out so nice and clean. One of the best desserts I've ever made. The same day I was asked to make it again. Will do. Thank you!!!

Crustless Spinach Quiche
Outstanding! I made this quiche for my family as part of a brunch the Friday after Thanksgiving. This was yummy. Followed the recipe to the T. Thank you. Got lots of compliments.

Garlic Green Beans
Nothing out of this world, but definitely a great option for a twist on green beans for a weekday side dish. Thanks for the recipe. Will do again.
