This was an easy recipe. It turned out great and IS very crumbly so be careful to let them cool first. I don't really like thickness of these though. It's too much cookie that tastes bland with some chocolate on it. I will amend the recipe next time to copy, somewhat, the popular shortbread found in the store.

AWESOME cookies!! I have trouble baking cookies but these turned out perfect and such a great taste and texture. They were crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside with the sweet jam gooey perfect. I sprinkled powerdered sugar over them b/c I didn't want to make the glaze and the sugar melted into the cookies so I don't recommend that.. but they are just find w/o any glaze or extras.... yuummy! My best Christmas cookies this year.
