Fudge

I was looking for a fudge recipe without marshmallow cream and this one is perfect. Ridiculously easy which is great in my book. Perfect! People will think you spent hours on this.

Tangy Coleslaw

Love this, but as usual my husband doesn't like it.It still gets five stars from me though I don't like creamy coleslaw and this one is perfect for me. It just gets better the longer it sits. I love it with a sandwich for lunch during the week. A real keeper.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

My favorite soup. It's hard to get something too spicy for me or my husband so this is perfect. I use fresh roasted green chiles and fresh serrano peppers instead of canned but otherwise I make it exactly as written. Perfect served with corn tortillas and even better the next day. Make this. You won't be sorry.

Dumplings

These are the only dumplings I'll ever make. I use butter in the place of margarine but that is the only thing I do differently. Perfect recipe and one to pass on to my daughters. Love it.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

My second favorite chicken soup and my husbands first. He called from a trip and described a chicken tortilla soup he had just eaten. I entered the ingredients and this popped up. This soup is awesome just as it is. Don't miss this one.

This tasted good enough but it wasn't great. Kind of dry and I wasn't thrilled with the glaze. I was able to use up some oranges so that's a plus but this wasn't the recipe I was looking for.

Oklahoma Cheese Grits

A new family favorite. The only change I made was to use extra sharp cheddar instead of Velveeta. Great with BBQ pork and even better as leftovers with breakfast the next day.

Spanish Flan

I made this exactly as the recipe stated but I did cook it in a water bath because I was afraid not to. This was fabulous. It turned out perfectly and was just sweet enough. It was simple to make and I had all the ingredients here at home. I'll make this again and again.
