My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook our holiday desserts. I love making christmas fudge and truffles,I especially love making cream pies. I also love making Mexican food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother and mother were born in California so they picked up on a lot of Mexican traditions. Then my family migrated toward the south so we love home cooking. Like fried chicken and mac and cheese.
My cooking triumphs
Since I've been little I have wathced my mother and grandma cook dinner and what not. A few years ago I dicovered that cooking was comfortable to me and I got a recipe for simple fudge. I changed the recipe a little and added some peanut butter chips and marshmallows plus the normal things. I was so proud that it turned out so delicious any everyone indulged in it.
My cooking tragedies
When I was around 14 I was in a class where I had to bring a food to class from a different coutnry. My country was Chile and I decided to make this white cake thing. I made it perfectly but at the end it said sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with lemon juice. So I done that right after it came out of the oven. And the powdered sugar melted not to long after. Well I got frusterated because it wasn't supposed to look like it did. I kept repeating those steps and by the time I got it perfect lookikng it was so sour you couldn't even eat it. I was so dissapointed.
