I liked the nutmeg taste. Reminds me of Eggnog. Yummy!

No Bake Cereal Cookies

Way easier to make than rice krispie treats and pretty good too! I used Crispix cereal and boiled the corn syrup before adding the sugar (like someone else suggested). So far they haven't gotten hard. Delicious warm!

This was perfect. I added some vanilla and only a dash of nutmeg. I will definitely make this again.

Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
Fabulous for a spur of the moment dessert! I added coconut (as suggested by another reviewer), white chocolate chips, and baking m&m's. I used crushed Crispix cereal with one cup of oats. Next time I will add more of the cereal. I also used half brown sugar and half white sugar. Seems a little sweet, so I might only use 1 1/2 cups of both sugars next time.

Marinated Pork Loin

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
Terrific! I didn't follow the recipe exactly because I didn't have cider vinegar, but I used red wine vinegar and it came out fantastic. I also cooked it in my crockpot with all the sauce at once and a few carrots. I will definitely use this again.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2009
Great side dish, but the garlic should only be roasted for half that time or at a lower temperature. Turn them half way too so all the sides get the same treatment. I added some sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.

Irish Tea Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
I put in too much butter (for some reason I thought 1/2 cup of butter was 2 sticks), but it still turned out super DELICIOUS! A little buttery only because of my stupid mistake. Came out of the pan really easily (probably because of all the butter).

I had something just like this at Outback Steakhouse. It was just as good or maybe even better (probably even cheaper).

Banana-Dulce de Leche Pie (Banana-Caramel Pie)

I threw away my first crust because it was too wet. I made the dulce de leche and whipped cream in different ways than the recipe. Check out my blog to see how my pie turned out.

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I was making a pie that didn't have the right proportions of butter and graham cracker crumbs, so I found this one and had all the ingredients on hand. It turned out much better.

Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I wasn't sure how long to whip it so I think mine turned out a little too runny. I put a metal bowl and the beaters in the freezer for about 10 minutes and that helped.

I had to keep them in the oven for almost 45 minutes, but they still were great.

Pasghetti Pizza

I didn't have vermicelli or mozzarella, so I used spaghetti and cheddar cheese. I also used fresh parsley and garlic and it made it taste so healthy. I put the pepperoni on sparingly and the whole dish was wonderful!

Welsh Cookies

I think 3 minutes on each side is way too long, unless the heat should really be between medium and low. I didn't put in currants because I have no idea where to find them, but I thought they still tasted alright.
