Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Made it as directed and it was incredible. I did make one small change. I layered the pan with bacon and wrapped the outside of the loaf with it completely. Added 10 minutes to baking time and once cooked completely, removed from pan immediately to get it out of the bacon grease. I go rave reviews for my bacon cheeseburger meatloaf!!!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I made this for my Mother's Birthday and it was a HUGE hit. After spray buttering the bundt pan, I lightly coated it with unsweetened cocoa to make it a little less sweet. I also make a chocolate ganache to coat it with and decorated it with a mix of blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. Everyone thought it was the best cake ever.

Big Charlie's Gumbo

Great recipe. I took out the beef and added a 3 pound rotisserie chicken (pulled and stringed). Also made crawfish cornbread to compliment. Next time I will use rock shrimp because I prefer whole shrimp, and the ones I got had to be cut down. I simmered for an extra hour before adding meat and then simmered for another hour before adding file powder, just to make sure the flavors were more combined. Was a huge hit with my friends.

Applesauce Sandwich

I used to eat these as a kid but with a little difference in the recipe. I use cream cheese on one piece of honey wheat bread and then add the applesauce. After lightly grilling, I sprinkle with cinnamon...makes it like an apple turnover...

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Made it for mothers day and it was a hit. I used Potatoes Obrien (with peppers in them already) rather than plain hashbrowns. Also added extra swiss and cheddar since we love cheese. Mom said I will be making that for all family brunches from now on.

Caramel Apple Cake

The first time I made it, it did not cook all the way through (insert a knife in the center and it will come out clean when done), so I baked for extra 15 minutes and was fine...not caramel enough for me tho... Next time I made it, I added 1/4 cup of maple syrup to the brown sugar, cinnamon, butter topping layer. Also, added apple slices to the bottom (top while cooking) layer and extra nuts. Next time, I will try an applesauce layer to the center to make a little more applely...

Ken's Texas Chili

i took some of the advice in the other comments. it was a huge hit. i added not only sweet onion to the meat while browning it, i also added tomato paste then as well as green and red peppers (diced). then once it had cooked for 30 minutes, i added 1/4 cup on japapeno juice and cooked for 20 more minutes. topped with a jalepeno cheese blend and sour cream. very easy recipe.
