About this Cook
I am 25 year old married woman with a son. I just graduated college. I don't LOVE to cook, but there are some things that I really like to make. When I make a good meal and the hubby wolfs it down, it is a nice self-esteem boost. I like to play pool, drink good beer, and enjoy a good night out.
My favorite things to cook
Fish, any kind. Chili Tacos Spanish Rice Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes. Cheesy Cauliflower, Carrot, and Broccoli Bake. BLT's Sliced Pork in the crockpot with yummy sauces. Meatballs in Sauce Lasagna Any food on the grill.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Chilli, Pork in Cream of Mushroom Sauce Meatloaf dinners
My cooking triumphs
My chili Seafood Making pork actually taste good--i always hated it growing up. My meatloaf (a family recipe
My cooking tragedies
A pork loin with this horrible vinegar based glaze on it. ugh. Meatloaf that the meat hadn't been defrosted, so I did it in the microwave, and it fell apart while cooking

Pumpkin Chili
Awesome! I made this for a Halloween Party we had and people loved it. My modifications: NO tomato juice. I have tomato juice in chili. Instead I used 2 quarts of canned tomatoes. I also used 1/8 cup of sugar (any more would have killed people with sweetness). I used about 2.5 tablespoons of chili powder, and the 3/4 can of pumpkin puree. GOod stuff. My husband liked it and he doesn't normally like chili. Will make instead of my 'normal chili from now on. THANK YOU!!!

Peanut Butter Fudge
This was grainy and tasted of sugar granules. Not peanut buttery enough. Follow the other people's advice and cut down the marshmallow in 1/2 or add more PB.

YUM! These got voted "best cookies" at my recent in-laws cookie day for Christmas. Their statement: The Girl Scouts ain't got nothin' on you! I used half an andes mint on each. Yummy!
