Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

This cake was WAY too sweet. I would reduce the sugar in the cake to 2/3 of a cup and also only use 2/3 of a cup for the whipped cream. Otherwise it was good. I added a teaspoon of orange extract and a teaspoon of cinnamon to the cake and it gave it a nice flavor.

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

This recipe is great. I also modified this recipe into a chocolate orange cookie. Just follow the directions, except add a teaspoon of orange extract after the chocolate has melted and cooled, and put a half wedge of a Terry's chocolate orange in place of the Andes mint.
