About this Cook
single bachelor. Cooking by trial and error.
My favorite things to cook
Hamburger dishes,beef,seafood,quik and easy dishes,cookies,fudge,deserts
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cook by trial and error. I will try a recipe and add my own variations until I get it to my personal tastes.
My cooking triumphs
Everybody loves my deserts such as fudge, caramel corn, apple crisp, and pies and cookies
My cooking tragedies
I made no-bake oatmeal cookies once that were harder than a rock, the dog wouldn't even eat it. I don't know what I did wrong and every try afterwords came out o.k. I now have oatmeal paper weights and door stops(lol)

Krispy Cream Pie
I tried this recipe using Coco-Krispies instead of puffed rice for a more flavorable crust. I then drizzled caramal and chocolate syrup over the top. After serving everybody wanted this recipe. I will definately make this again!

Hawaiian Shrimp
I made two batches of shrimp, one as your recipe said and another due to the shrimp burned before the bacon and tomatoes were done. The second batch I fried the bacon slightly, didn't use tomatoes, and grilled on medium heat and it turned out great.

Sausage SOS ($#@% On a Shingle)
I love this recipe with chipped beef but I use more milk than this recipe calls for.
