About this Cook
My name is Michelle Rowe, but I like to be called Mili. I'm 18 years old and I've been cooking by myself since I was about 12, when my father taught me how to make my first hamburger helper. I enjoy making baked good for my family/friends's birthday, whatever they request, I try my hardest to make happen. I'm a senior at Salem High School and I'm in the marching band and jazz band, I play the bari and tenor sax and I'm a side conductor for the marching band.
My favorite things to cook
Potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, shrimp, pizza, pasta, cheese, and white chocolate.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Goulash, Mashed Potatoes, Polynesian Steak, Stroganoff, Vegetable Soup, Pasta Salads, Strawberry Cake.
My cooking triumphs
I made four chickens, 2 pounds of asparagus, and 4 pounds of roasted red potatoes with the help of my friend and her mother. It was for about 12 or so people. It was amazing and delicious.
My cooking tragedies
I tried remaking the same thing with only one chicken so my father could taste it. I burned most of it.

Buttery Soft Pretzels
I had been craving a Parmesan mall pretzels since my friends had introduced them to me a few days ago. I made 9 pretzels and covered them with butter and Parmesan, they were much better than the mall pretzels and I can't wait to make them again for my friends.

Asian Style Meatloaf
This was great! I used two pounds of ground pork and beef to make a bigger one. I also added some soy sauce and more ketchup to the glaze, because I thought the hoisin was a bit too much. I could not believe how delicious this was! I will definately make this again.

Mashed Potato Cakes
I made these because I had so many mashed potatoes left over from Thanksgiving. I thought they were okay, but I'm not sure if I'll make them again. They weren't as good as I expected them to be.
