Rosemary and Garlic Simmered Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
My daughter and I loved this, however, my husband didn't like because he thought the herbs were too heavy. I may make again with lighter seasoning.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
This was really good. I think the next time I make it I will also cut back on the brown sugar, as I used a sweet BBQ sauce as well, as other reviewers have suggested. We are going to enjoy the leftovers on a salad later this week. This is super easy since I didn't need to thaw the chicken first (I had no problem with the sauce consistency).

Hearty Ham Loaves

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
This recipe is excellent! I made this as the recipe calls for except I made one big loaf instead of two smaller loaves. I shaped it into loaf form and put it in a 9x13-inch baking dish. this made it easier for the glazing process. I was a little worried about the glaze because it smelled very vinegary, but it was really good. We did not eat it right away as I had made something else for dinner, but ate it a couple days later and it was still very good. My husband said he wasn't too thrilled to hear we were having ham loaf but after he tasted it, he loved it. I used leftover Honeybaked ham, which added additional sweetness. I would definitely make this again.

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
This is very good and super easy. My only complaint is that the recipe makes a huge amount. We ended up throwing half of it away because we couldn't eat it all. But it was very good.

Ham 'N' Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
This is a very good quiche recipe. The only problem I had was I tried to cut it almost immediately and it was a little soft in the middle. Next time I will let it sit for a little while before slicing. Overall the taste was excellent. Family loved it.

Thirty Minute Meal

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
I would agree that this is very fast, easy and inexpensive. I would also agree with other reviewers that this recipe is rather bland. I added garlic when the beef was cooking and I added additional salt at the table to give it more flavor. I also thought it was too soupy. I would recommend less water. I doubt that I will make this again or if I do, I would probably add rice to try to thicken it up a bit.

Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
This was a good roast. My husband really liked it. I think I cooked it a bit too long so the meat was a little dry, but the flavor was good.

Sun-Dried Tomato and Pesto Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
Loved this spread! I also only made three layers to save time, but it was still pretty. I also halved the recipe since the party I took it to was small. I also used one large clove of garlic in the pesto layer and it was almost too much (if there could be such a thing). I think next time I will use slightly less garlic. I loved this and I am going to make it again next week for another gathering. Thanks!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
This is probably the BEST cheesecake I have ever eaten and definitely the best one I've ever made. The raspberry process is a little time-consuming, but worth it. It is not overly sweet. I used chocolate graham crackers for the crust. This will definitely be part of my permanent collection. Thanks!

Peach Sorbet

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
Maybe it was my peaches, but this sorbet was very tart and not all that sweet. Seems like it could have used a little more sugar to me. Unfortunately, I don't think I will make this again.

Spinach and Orzo Salad

I loved this salad. Very easy and tasty. An easy way to disguise spinach from a picky eater. The balsamic/olive oil dressing was really good.

Salmon Loaf

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
This was very good and my family enjoyed it. I made it with fresh salmon because I happen to have a fillet in the freezer (I ground it up in the food processor). I also used Ritz crackers because that is what I had. I think I will add an onion next time I make it, but overall this was delish! Thanks.

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
We thought this was just okay. The flavor of cloves was more than we liked. It probably didn't help that the particular ham I purchased was very salty. It did make the ouse smell good, but I don't know that I would make this again.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
Very easy and very pretty. I didn't use the styrofoam and they worked fine. I just dipped them by their stems. I had two pounds for a small party and had none left over. I didn't even get to try one, they went so fast.
