Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
This was a great pizza! I used 2 cups of mozzarella and sprinkled some Cheddar cheese on top too. I would warn people to be careful when cooking the chicken w/ BBQ sauce---the sauce I used must have had a lot of sugar in it b/c it burned after about 5 minutes on one side. I just peeled the burnt layer off and it still tasted great. Just a word of warning! The sesame oil gave a great taste, but we only used 1 TB and 1 TB olive oil so it wasn't overpowering. Thanks for sharing!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2007
I've tried other recipes, but this is the favorite in my house! It was chewy without being overly thick, and was easy to shape. This dough would also make awesome breadsticks! After topping the dough I brushed olive oil around the edges and sprinkled garlic powder around. I used a preheated pizza stone, and went ahead and topped the pizza on the stone. The bottom of the crust was already starting to crisp before it was in the oven. It think this helped with the overall end product.

Stuffed Peppers

I made these as a side dish, and my husband and friend loved them. I don't particularly care for onions, so this was not good for me. However, the men went back for seconds!

Spicy Oven Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2007
This was really tasty! I halved the amount of hot sauce (as I don't eat things too spicy) and it still had a good kick. Satisfied our craving for fried chicken without all the grease!

Cheesy Tuna Mornay

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2007
My husband and I enjoyed this casserole. We used half a box of angel hair pasta instead of rotini. Be sure to season the sauce with salt and pepper, it will need it! I also used 2 TB of butter for the sauce. The breadcrumbs also needed to be tossed with some melted butter.

Bourbon Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
My husband and I really didn't like this. We added more brown sugar and less bourbon, like others, but still tasted too much of the alcohol. We also cubed the chicken and pan-fried it, and separately cooked the remaining marinade. The chicken still had an alcohol taste to it.

Bob's Mexican Stuffed Chicken

Great recipe! My husband loved it. It wasn't to difficult to prepare, and I used bread crumbs mixed with taco seasoning.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2007
My husband and I enjoyed this. I didn't have sage or marjoram, so I upped the poultry seasoning. I also halved the recipe and needed all the chicken broth called for.

Cheddar Potato Wedges

These were good, but too greasy. Next time I will not use as much butter.

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
These are very good--not the best, but good. I halved the recipe and made 6 jumbo muffins. Used half white and half brown sugar, but I wish I would have added a little cinnamon like some suggested. I also tossed the blueberries in flour before adding to the mixture. The baked up well, and the tops had a really pretty and tasty crust--even without sugar or streusal!

Italian Style Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
My husband and I liked this dish, but the amount of "Italian" seasoning was a bit much. We added kielbasa sausage also, just because we had it in the freezer. Pretty good overall.

Spicy Filet Mignon

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2007
My husband and I prepared this rub for a special dinner. It was AMAZING. After grilling we seared the meat in a skillet to get a better crust. Then, we sliced the filets very thin and served with garlic smashed red potatoes. The spice was just right!

I followed this recipe to a "T," and the cookies turned out great each time. I'm not a cookie lover, but cannot get enough of these!
