Fennel in Wine and Honey

I had to increase the heat to a simmer and extend the cooking time to make sure the fennel was tender, but this was delicious.

This recipe was amazing. A little tweaking of spices for my personal taste, but that was about it. I read that some people had issues with thickening the sauce. I made sure the flour was well whisked in, and then cooked over a medium temperature, basically simmered it for a minute or two, and it thickened right up.

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

This turned out really well. I took the seeds, toasted them with a bit of salt, and used them to top the pie. It made for a really interesting combination. This recipe made about 1.5 pies worth of filling for me.

Mushroom Lentil Barley Stew

I found this a bit on the bland side, but otherwise it was good. Also very nutritious, it was perfect for me after a workout, when I have trouble eating heavier foods.

Flaky Crescent Mushroom Turnovers

The recipe turned out pretty well, but I would have preferred melted cheese in the filling so that it would merge better. It tasted to much like grated Parmesan cheese. I brought a batch of these to a party and they were a big hit.

Lamb Feta Peppers

Cherry Tomatoes Filled with Goat Cheese

Miso Soup I

I went to an asian grocery store and yet couldn't find anything other than generic soybean miso paste. This still turned out very good, though a tad salty.
