Lemon Pudding Cake I
Took the advice of the previous reviewer and ground my sugar into caster sugar with the lemon rind. Yummm...wonderful aromatic lemon scented sugar!! This dessert has a delightful balance of sweet and tart; just when I thought it was too sweet the lemon flavor kicked in. This is really a delicious dessert and will bear repeating. Thanks, Cali, for sharing this keeper recipe!

Candied Citrus Peel
Excellent! My first time making candied orange peel and it was a huge success. I love this! As someone else remarked, tasted almost like those orange jelly candies. Orange flavor just erupts in your mouth! I used a veggie peeler to peel the orange so it wasn't beautiful (I was using the peel in a recipe) so no pith. A little time is spent but the flavor is big. Will definitely make this again and again. Thank you!

Sugar Cookie Icing
Excellent icing. I used it to trim my supersized gingerbread men and it works like a charm. The recipe is quite forgiving; I needed additional milk to get the desired consistency for easy piping and I kept adding it in small drops, mixing and testing small amounts until I found what I wanted. I swapped out the almond flavoring for vanilla. Corn syrup gives it a nice gloss and helps to harden it.
