About this Cook
Homemaker, married to a great man, who is also a fantatic cook. We have a 3 month old daughter, born Jan. 18, 2008.
My favorite things to cook
Absolutely love chicken and fish. Not a a big fan of red meat, but I still cook it for my family. Love to try new recipies and make my own tweaks. Also like to cook Chinese, Italian, and crock pot meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
*Everyone* sits down at the table and eats. No Exceptions. :D
My cooking triumphs
Making my grandmother's potato salad. No one else seems to be able to do it *exactly* like she did. Invented my own Grilled Pineapple Porkchops recipie.
My cooking tragedies
...I ruined toast. That takes talent.

Mom's Chicken
I just finished this, and it was amazing! The only things I did differently were using apricot preserves and roasting a whole chicken. So very, very moist. Even my picky 2 year old loved it!

Dill and Honey Pork Chops
Ended up baking them for 45 minutes (since I hate frying food). Halfway through I flipped them and added more honey/dill. Turned out excellent; my family has been begging me to make them again.
