About this Cook
Hi, I'm Caitlin. I'm a junior in high school and I love baking! I do a lot of experimenting with different dessert recipes to try to create healthier versions. My mom is where I learned anything and everything I know about baking from. We love baking together and adjusting recipes for her diabetic fiance. We're quite a team. ;)
My favorite things to cook
Cookies are my favorite things to bake. Pies are fun too!
My cooking triumphs
Making things healthier without sacrificing too much taste!
My cooking tragedies
When I tried to prepare my FIRST dinner for the family... I was making fried lemon chicken with some cheesy broccolini pasta side... That was a little too advanced for my first dinner! Biggest lesson learned: time management.

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men
So delicious and so spicy! EVERYONE loves these! The electrician who was over our house probably ate a dozen of them by himself while installing our stove, haha. He told my dad they were really good and asked where we bought them. ;)

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili
Mmmm! I used 99% lean ground turkey which I cooked with the chopped onion in the skillet. I upped all the spices a little and added mushrooms and corn. I also took the advice of other reviewers and used 1 can of soup and 1 can of crushed tomatoes. Sooo yummy!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie
Even with low fat sweetened condensed milk, it is the most delicious pumpkin pie I've ever had. The texture is awesome, unlike those other pumpkin pies that are mushy and running. This is so easy to make and so tasty!
