Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
Awesome! Delightful...I found it a bit thin for my taste when made to diretions (though still tasty!!) and added 1/2 cup mayo to mine for a thicker, smoother dressing. To DIE for!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2008
Excellent cookies! I found myself without baking soda when I went to make these...so I completely butchered the original recipie...I used 8 teaspoons baking powder, and added 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cut chopped walnuts, along with 2 teaspoons of vanilla (as recommended by others) and about 1/2 cup extra outmeal. They rose fine, and tasted great! I was worried the baking powder "taste" would come through but not at all! Slightly crispy outside, chewy and soft inside... Yumm!

I LOVE this recipie! I make this every time I go to a potluck or have company over...they are always SO amazed! I use a little less jalepeno then recommended, but an otherwise perfect recipie!

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
Great kid food! This one scored an 11 outta 10 with my 2 year old! I used crushed saltines instead of breadcrumbs (was all outta crumbs!) and these were a huge hit! I also used a beaten egg (with a little water) to dip instead of butter, and they were crisp and juicy! I found 20 minutes a little long for my batch (which I cut to 1" cubes) so I shortened it to 15 minutes.

Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
Excellent fries! Even using cheap potatoes, I got crisp fries. I used a deep fryer and added beer (lager) instead of water. For those wondering about dipping each fry seperatly...thin your batter just slightly (about a tbsp tops!) and put the batter in a medium-sized plastic container with a tight-fitting well-sealing lid. Add your cut potatoes, seal her up, then SHAKE for approx 1-2 mins to coat all the fries. This will evenly coat all the fries with batter and save you time in dipping them. When adding them to the hot oil, add them using tongs insead of your fingers...I took "tongs full" bunches and dropped them into the oil, let the batter set up ever so slightly, then seperated them by shaking the bunches until they came apart (about 1 min into frying). I'm impatient and while they didn't come out perfectly solo fries...the bunches were crisp and yummy too! Try adding cajun spices or chipolte pepper instead of the paprika, it gives them a little kick!

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
VERY easy to make, comes out GREAT exactly as directed, for the second time I made it I used 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1 1/2 cups milk to get a richer taste. I highly recommend adding parmesan cheese to the top of the bowl when serving. GREAT!!!

Best served fresh and hot. I added mushrooms to my gravy to make a better gravy, I recommend adding some salt and pepper to the pork for better flavor.

I wasn't sure exactly how to get the chicken nice and flat, but after beating it a bit it worked well! This recipe is tasty, simple, and impressive plated with vegatables and wild rice!
