About this Cook
I'm a pediatric dental assistant which means I get up early and get home late, which doesn't always leave time for cooking. When I'm not at work I love baking, scrapbooking, and hanging out with my husband and dog.
My favorite things to cook
Banana bread, my grandmother's chocolate peanut butter crunch balls, lasagna, kung pao chicken, basil and sausage pasta, chicken parmesan, meatloaf.

Buffalo Chicken Dip
This dip is amazing! Soooo good! I used fresh chicken, 3 breasts that I boiled for 15 minutes and then shred and chopped real small, and followed the other directions as stated in the recipe. But I baked it 350 for 25 minutes instead. I didn't think these were too hot at all and I have weak tolerance for spicy foods. I think I might throw in an extra dash of Franks next time. I served it with celery sticks and scoops. I had chicken in a biscuit crackers but noone cared for them with the dip. While the dip was awesome it was slightly unappealing in the looks department. The cheese made the dip really oily, but it tasted so good it didn't matter.

Guacamole
This guacamole is delicious! By far the best I've ever had, and it was so easy to make. Took as an appetizer for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit. Followed the recipe exactly minus the cayenne pepper. Wouldn't change a thing. It was perfect!

Four Cheese Macaroni
This is really rich, decadent, and yummy mac n cheese. I have made this a few times now with other reviewers suggestions; 1/2 cup extra 1/2 and 1/2, no eggs, and adding extra cheese plus some paprika. It's always delicious. I've baked it as well as cooked it in a slowcooker for Easter and another party. I followed the recipe and steps in order as usual but just threw it in the crockpot on high for two hours. I always toss my shredded cheese with a little bit of flour and I haven't had any of the consistancy issues. Crowd pleaser and great recipe!
