I come from a huge family that loves to get together. Family dinners/lunches are an event that I have recently found out require lots of planning and preparation. I have realized that baking is my specialty. It's been kind of a family tradition since we all like our sweets. Christmas cooking is what I remember most. Since we have moved slightly further away from the family it doesn't happen as much. But there was nothing quite like making Christmas cookies and candies with Mom. I made Thanksgiving dinner for 28 people this year. I just about lost my mind, but I learned how to juggle and multi-task in the kitchen. I haven't had any yet. (knock on wood) I tend to not try something without a little help if it appears to difficult.
