Eggplant Pasta Bake

Made this last night for my vegetarian wife. We both enjoyed it and will make it again. I made the recipe exactly as written but like some other reviewers I think I will add more eggplant and some herbs and spices to taste. Thanks for a yummy dish!!!

Vegetarian Gravy

The first time I made this I had to add 3 more cups of broth because it was too thick. The second time I made this I cut the vegetable oil in half and made up for it with butter. Again I had to add 3 more cups of broth but both times it came out very tasty. I made this for my vegetarian wife but the whole family enjoyed it. I would imagine it will be our "go-to" gravy recipe from now on. Oh, and make sure you add the nutritional yeast. It really makes the flavor perfect. It was hard to find in my area but they carry it in bulk at Whole Foods.

Grilled Cheese with Tomato

Have been making this recipe for some time now and love it. Our daughter, in college, is just learning how to cook and simply loves this recipe. She changed the type of cheese because it was on sale and shared her change with us. She used Havarti instead of Mozzarella. Either way it's delicious and goes great with a bowl of tomato soup.

Southern California Cioppino

Tried this recipe the first time back in February or March and thought it had too many ingredients. The funny thing is I followed the recipe to the letter and was not disappointed. The flavor is complex and many of the ingredients very subtle. We just made this recipe again recently for guests. They already liked my cooking but now they think I should "Go Pro". Thanks for sharing!!!

Dad's Hamburger Gravy

No Frying Eggplant Parmesan

Delicious without complicated. I have made this a number of times now. My vegetarian sweetheart loves taking this to work with her for a quick reheat in the microwave. Her coworkers tell her they wish they had a man at home who could cook so well. Thanks for this recipe.

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

My sweetheart was out tonight so I decided to make chicken "roll ups" as the kids call them. I am glad she was gone too because she would never have let me roll the chicken in melted butter preferring milk or something less fattening. I followed your recipe to the letter and found it quite delicious. Next time I will add a few herbs and spices just to make this recipe my own. I'm tossing my old recipe because it was more labor intensive and doesn't come out noticeably better. Thanks for a relatively easy and yummy recipe.

Newport Clam Chowder

We had a Soup Party at our house a few nights ago that included homemade breads and rolls, 2 kinds of chili, 3 soups, one stew and This Recipe for Newport Clam Chowder. Well, the results are in: The Clam Chwder stole the show. The raves were mainly about the flavor. A few guests, however, confided in me that it wasn't thick enough. I WILL make this again to see if I did something wrong but will thicken it if necessary.

Cajun Corn Soup

My Sweetheart has been going more and more vegetarian on me so I tried this recipe. I hate to make changes but it really was a tiny one. I used vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. She loves the beans so this worked out perfectly. I like a little more meat or chicken or fish with my meals so I add in some sauteed shrimp to my bowl right before serving. Three little words: Won-der-ful!

Pineapple Enchiladas

This is one of the first recipes I tried from Allrecipes.com several years ago. And when I remember to check my recipe box I have this AHA moment and know what to make. It's not an everyday menu item at our house but it is a welcome change when I remember to include it on Mexican Food Nights. What a fun little twist that even my pickiest eater enjoys.

Famous Pork Chops

Our kids love Shake-N-Bake so I wasn't sure this was going to work because it is so simple. Sometimes you just have to go with what you have. To my pleasant surprise I have served pork chops this way a number of times and nobody seems to miss the old Shake-N-Bake at all. I do add different herbs and spices just for change but it really doesn't need it. Simple is good.

The Best Thai Coconut Soup

Like many people here I get tempted to tweak recipes. Not this one. It rivals a favorite local Thai restaurant that my Sweetheart and I go to so I resist the temptation to tamper. Some folks might like or expect it to be spicier but for us this is perfect. I wish i could give it more stars.

Sweet Russian Cabbage Soup

I have been eating this soup for 6 months at least. The only thing I have changed in all that time is less sugar since the reason I picked up this recipe was to find a good fat burner. Not only is it delicious but also good for you.

Easy Spicy Roasted Potatoes

I love when recipes do not need to be adjusted. This is one of those that you can just go as is. Nice thing about it also...you can personalize it depending on your taste in spices.
