After being in the Air Force for 14 years, I have settled in Virginia since 1995. Im currently working as a pharmacy technician. I have three boys ages 16, 23 and 27. I have one beautiful, healthy grandchild. I am enjoying this site, learning new techniques, new recipes and listening to all of your wonderful suggestions and ideas. During this stage of my life, which is a quiet single life, I am most interested in comfort food. I work long hours and value my slow-cooker. I am interested in eating foods that are better for me...more vegetables and much less junk food Im trying to build new ones Cooking foods that make my boys smile and ask for more. My middle son wants to be a chef. I enjoy it when he asks ME for a recipe. There have been many and I'm sure, more to come, but thankfully, much less frequent.
