About this Cook
I have been married for 17 yrs and have 2 children. I am always looking for quick and easy recipes for dinner and have used several off this website that the family has really enjoyed. I also enjoy painting ceramics and am learning to sew.
My favorite things to cook
I am a Meat and Potato's kind of gal. I love when we throw some marinated steaks on the bbq. But I have been testing some casserole recipes, along with pork chop recipes and chicken recipes to add variation to our meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When my mom and I get the chance to make Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner together.
My cooking triumphs
I always get request to make bite size steaks. My husbands family asks for this on special occasions and we usually have to make the recipe x4 and have to deep fryers going at once.
My cooking tragedies
When I first moved to go to college I was living with my dad and tried to make gravy from scratch.....Big mistake since I had no clue what I was doing. He tried to eat it as not to hurt my feelings but I think it would have worked better as a glue or sealent.

Tater Tot Casserole II
The family really enjoyed this one. Husband had 3rds. I added an additional can of cream of mushroom soup. I also pre-cooked the hamburger in frying pan and added seasoning. This was so simple and easy to make. The only other change I will make next time is add some more tater tots to the top of the dish as my kids like some crunchy tter tots as well as the soft ones that were on top of the meat. Thanks for sharing this recipe it's a keeper.

Famous Butter Chicken
Made this one for dinner and the family loved it. I added some extra all season spices to my cracker crumbs for extra flavor and the extra crumbs left from dipping the chicken in I spread over the top of chicken to bake. Chicken was so tender and juicy fell apart when I went to dish it out of baking pan. Great Recipe.
