Shortbread Cookies II
After making the dough instead of using a cookie press or dropping by balls, I rolled the dough into four logs, wrapped the logs in waxed paper, placed in the fridge to harden, and then sliced in about 1/2" slices. Perfect and delicious. Sometimes I make the dough up to 3 days ahead of time then slice and bake when I need them. After baked I sprinkle with powder sugar. Makes a beauiful presentation.

Irish Soda Bread
Delicious. I make several Irish Soda Bread Recipes and this is the best. The sour cream makes it moist and gives it a whole different texture. I agree with the other rater who suggested caraway seeds and raisins be added to your own taste. I used 2 cups of raisins but will use the 3 next time. I used a combination of golden and dark raisins which looked nice and tasted good. I only used 1 tsp. of the caraway seed. For us that was perfect. This is an easy recipe for a beginner and is fast to make.

Chunky Pecan Pie Bars
These cookies were easy to make and delicious. I made them for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them. I followed the directions but used chocolate chips instead of chunks. They had a rich chocolate taste. I noted one rater halved the amount of chocolate which would give them more of a pecan pie taste.
