Creative pastas and salads. Cheesecake variations. Anything that reminds me of my mother's cooking. I am half Slovenian and I am very intruiged with ethnic cooking. I am still trying to master Potica. Once I do I will submit my recipe. I hope to be able to make it as good as my grandfather's. Potica is included at every family gathering on both side of my family (both of my parents are half Slovenian). I once made a tiramisu cheesecake with an improvised recipe and even amazed myself. Chocolate torte. It was a crumbly mess that I will probably never attempt again.
